      Badgers remain in seventh at their home Invitational
      Sam Houston State leads the team and individual scoring at the Badger Invitational

      MADISON, Wis.- The men’s golf team locked in seventh place after the second round of the 54-hole Badger Invitational at their University Ridge home course. Wisconsin tallied 304 strokes today, raising their overall score to 25-over par 297-304--611. 
       
      All 13 teams struggled compared to yesterday, with no teams below par and the lowest team scores recorded by Sam Houston State’s and USC Upstate’s 5-over 293. Sam Houston State leads the field at even par 283-293--576.
       
      Sam Houston State also has the top player with Zach Cabra at a 5-under 71-68--139. He was the lone golfer to score in the 60’s today. 
       
      Thomas O’Bryan tops Badger scoring with a 74-72--146, to put him 2-over par and tied for 10th. He recorded an eagle 3 on the par 5 No. 2 today. 
       
      Next was Jack Watson who slipped to 22nd place after his second place finish yesterday. He finished 5-over with a 70-79--149. 
       
      Eddie Waja tied with individual Johnny Decker, with an 8-over 152. Continuing the trend,individuals Matt Ross and Michael Abrahamson ended tied for 29th and 6-over par. Another Badger pair playing as individuals scored identical scores (82-82--164) placing Richard Hubbard and Ben Skogen tied for 72nd. 
       
      Zach Balit and Rob Jacobsen who had the best averages for the Badgers coming into the tournament, ended last for team scoring. Jacobsen recorded a 77-78--155 and Balit tallied a 76-82--158. 
       
      Individuals Payton Taylor and Tommy Schofield both bounced back from their scores in the 80’s yesterday, achieving a 73 and a 76 respectively.

      REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -- UD senior Amanda Terzian leads the individual standings while the Blue Hen women’s golf team is third in the team standings on Saturday following the first day of the University of Delaware Invitational.

       

      Terzian carded a six over par 74-76-150 on the par 72, 6,180-yard Rehoboth Beach Country Club course, ending the day leading the 55-player field. Terzian holds a one-shot lead over Jessica Lydia of Richmond, who fired a 77-74-151 on Saturday.

       

      Junior Vimonthip Benjasupawan is the second Blue Hen who finished the day in the top five, as she recorded a nine over par 75-78-153 to finish the day tied for fourth place.

       

      Delaware, which captured the team title at least year’s inaugural tournament, posted team scores of 313 and 315 during its two rounds of the day to finish third out of 10 squads with a 628 score. Georgetown leads the way with a 610 total, while Penn is second at 624. The Blue Hen “B” squad sits in eighth place at 655 following its rounds of 324 and 331.

       

      Vitoria Teixeira paced the “B” team by firing a 14 over par 78-80-144 to end the day tied for 11th place in the individual standings. Rachel Lee carded a 17 over par 81-80-161 during her day to tie for 17th place, while Grace Chua is tied for 22nd place after carding an 18 over par 81-81-162.

       

      Andi Slane and Nathalie Filler each fired 20 over par scores of 83-81-164, to tie for 28th place, in addition to Baralee Theinthong, who recorded an 86-78-164 while playing as an individual.

       

      Emma Sills is tied for 36th place following her 23 over par day of 83-84-167, while Annie Bowlsby carded a 24 over par 82-86-168 to tie for 39th place. Marie Bogenez, who fired a 28 over par 83-89-172, is tied for 46th place in the standings.

       

      The third and final round of the Delaware Invitational will begin on Sunday at 8 a.m.

      LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- Blue Hen freshman Rachel Lee is tied for fifth place in the individual standings while the University of Delaware women’s golf team is seventh in the team standings following Sunday’s opening round of the 37th Annual Florida International University/Pat Bradley Invitational.
       
      The Blue Hens recorded a team score of 310 on Sunday, ending the day in seventh place out of 13 squads. Memphis leads the field with a 288 score, while Daytona State is second at 294 and FIU sits in third place at 295.
       
      Lee, playing as an individual, carded an even par 72 on the par 72, 6,288-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf Course to finish the day tied for fifth place. Lee birdied 7 and 17 during her round while adding 14 pars to shoot 72, her lowest round of the season.
       
      UD senior Amanda Terzian is tied for 18th place following her opening round score of 76, four over par. Terzian posted birdies on 2 and 4 during the early part of her round, and also had 11 pars on the day. Juniors Vimonthip Benjasupawan and Andi Slane each carded five over par 77 during their opening rounds, ending the day tied for 24th place. Benjasupawan recorded her lone birdie of the day on 12, while Slane had 13 pars on Sunday.
       
      Sophomore Vitoria Teixeira birdied 8 and 18 during her eight over par opening round 80 to end the day tied for 41st place, while classmate Nathalie Filler is tied for 58th place following her 11 over par 83.
       
      Michaela Fletcher of Memphis leads the field after carding a three under par 69 on Sunday.
       
      The second round of the tournament will take place on Monday, before the final round on Tuesday.
