A prosperous week for Goldey-Beacom on the playing field led to four receiving awards for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Junior Cole Lewis (Caravel) was named the Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week, freshman Abdoul Konate (William Penn) was picked the sport's Rookie of the Week, sophomore Eduardo Coimbra (Curitiba, Brazil) made the sport's Weekly Honor Roll and junior Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) was tabbed Volleyball's Player of the Week.

Lewis went 2-0 with 12 saves and a shutout.  He had five saves Monday in a 7-1 triumph over Shepherd and then notched seven in a 3-0 victory Saturday at Shippensburg.

Lewis has played admirably since taking over for two-time first team All-CACC pick Suhail Bismilla.  He owns a 2-1 record this season with a 0.97 goals-against average and an .824 save percentage.

Konate scored twice Monday in Goldey-Beacom's 7-1 triumph over Shepherd.  This all took place in his third collegiate game.

Coimbra ended with a goal and three assists as part of the Lightning's 2-0 week.  All of his points came Monday against Shepherd.

Coimbra last season recorded two goals and two assists before putting together a more than impressive spring campaign ahead of what could be a solid 2019 season.

Przywara closed her week with 63 kills, 56 digs and seven aces over five matches.  She recorded double-doubles in each of her last three matches, including 20 kills and 12 digs along with three aces Saturday at Kutztown.

The 2016 CACC Rookie of the Year, 2018 third team All-CACC pick and 2018 Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree continues to be one of the top outside hitters in the area.  She stands fourth in school history with 848 career kills.
