Boy's Cross Country See Wilmington Charter Edge Sallies

The 2019 Boys cross country championship took place on Saturday November 9th from Killens Pond.  The Division 1 race saw Aiden Higley of Sallies win the race with a time of 15:49.  Andrew Avila of Wilmington Charter was second followed by Ryan Banko of Sallies, Blaise Moyer of Caesar Rodney, and Ethan Edery of Cape Henlopen.  Wilmington Charter edged Sallies by scoring 39 points to Sallies 42 points.  Caesar Rodney finished in third place with 94 points.  
The Division 2 race saw Declan McDonnell of Tatnall winning in a time of 16:03.  Quinn O'Dell of Delaware Military Academy finished second followed by Blake Hundley of St Andrew's, Chris Rosado of Friend's, and Jack Vito of St Mark's.  Wilmington Friend's won the Division 2 team title as they held off Tatnall by 10 points scoring 66 points.  Archmere finished third with 114 points.
