Men's Basketball Earns First Conference Win Over Marymount

Dover, Del. - The Wesley Men's Basketball team earned their first conference win Wednesday night against Marymount, 79-65. The team improves to 7-7 after a thrilling match against the Saints.

Brian Cameron (DMA) led the way for the Wolverines, tearing up the court with 30 points while going 12-12 in free throw attempts and grabbing four rebounds.

Greg Bloodsworth (Smyrna) tallied 23 points of his own along with four steals. Terrence Braxton (Caesar Rodney) accumulated seven rebounds while keeping Wesley in the lead for most of the game.

Marymount looked to be in control during the first half of the first quarter until Bloodsworth's layup got the Wolverines' offense going. The team continued to score, landing them a 36-26 lead at the half. The Wolverines kept the scoring going throughout the second half as they secured the victory.

Wesley will look to hurdle over the .500 mark in their next game against the Neumann Knights on January 11th at 3:00 p.m.
