New York-Monroe Woodbury LL fell 10-4 to Delaware-Canal LL on Thursday despite out-hitting them eight to six.


Delaware-Canal LL took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Delaware-Canal LL.


After Delaware-Canal LL scored two runs in the top of the fifth, New York-Monroe Woodbury LLanswered with two of their own. Delaware-Canal LL scored when Brooklyn Richardson doubled off of Brianna Roberts, driving in two runs. New York-Monroe Woodbury LL then answered when Emma Lawson tripled off of Brooklyn, driving in one run and Amanda Palmer doubled off of Brooklyn, driving in one run.


New York-Monroe Woodbury LL knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning. With one out in the first inning Emma drove in one run when she singled.


Delaware-Canal LL took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Olivia Marinucci singled off of Brianna, driving in one run and Brooklyn doubled off of Brianna, driving in one run.
Delaware-Canal LL scored five runs in the sixth inning. Delaware-Canal LL's big inning was driven by a walk by Sara Ann Sobocinski and a single by Olivia.


Brooklyn earned the win for Delaware-Canal LL. She pitched six innings, giving up four runs, eight hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Brianna took the loss for New York-Monroe Woodbury LL. She tossed five innings, allowing seven runs, five hits, and striking out seven.
New York-Monroe Woodbury LL had eight hits in the game. AmandaEmma, and Danielle Ryaneach collected multiple hits for New York-Monroe Woodbury LLDanielleEmma, and Amandaeach collected two hits to lead New York-Monroe Woodbury LL.

Delaware-Canal LL collected six hits. Olivia and Brooklyn each collected multiple hits for Delaware-Canal LL.
