Nicole Enabosi Named CAA Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware forward Nicole Enabosi earned her fourth CAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award, as announced by the league office Monday.
The Gaithersburg, Md. native helped the Blue Hens (15-8, 8-4 CAA) to a pair of key wins over William & Mary and Hofstra by averaging 17.0 points, 17.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 2.5 blocked shots per game. Enabosi also went 18-of-22 from the free throw line for the week.
In Friday’s win over the Tribe, she tallied 16 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and three blocks, including the 100th of her career.
Enabosi then posted her 17th double-double of the season with 17 points and 19 rebounds in Sunday’s victory against the Pride.
Enabosi leads the CAA with 18.3 points and 12.4 rebounds per contest, marks that are good for 63rd and seventh nationally, respectively.
Delaware remains home for two contests this weekend by hosting James Madison Friday at 1 p.m. for the annual #Play4Kay pink game and College of Charleston Sunday at 1 p.m.
