      (Zwier, Washington) Washington Wins Game One, 7-0, and Game Two, 13-5, as Team Tallies Its Most Wins In Any Four-Year Stretch CARLISLE, Pa. – Washington College senior pitcher (Plainview, N.Y./Chaminade) tossed his first career no-hitter, the 16th in Centennial Conference history and the first nine-inning no-hitter by a WC pitcher in 48 years in a 7-0 victory in game one of a Centennial Conference doubleheader against host Dickinson on Saturday afternoon at MacPhail Field.  The Shoremen completed the sweep of the Red Devils, their first in eight years, with a 13-5 victory in game two as the Shoremen have now won 80 games since 2015, the most in any four-year stretch, breaking the mark of 78 set from 2009-12. Washington College 7 Dickinson 0 (Game 1) How It Happened - Washington took control of the game with its second five-run first inning of the week.  With nobody out, scored on an error by Dickinson for the game's first run.  The next hitter,  (Caravel) plated a pair on a single to score and to give the Shoremen a three-run advantage.  then drove in Hirschbaum on a base hit to make it 4-0 and with one out, Zwier scored on an RBI groundout to cap the five-run frame.    - Barclay would make it 6-0 when he scored on an RBI groundout with one out in the top of the second and in the top of the seventh with nobody away Barclay came around to score on a base hit by Tancredi. - Mikulus retired the first 13 Red Devils he faced before Dickinson got its first and only runner of the game in the bottom of the fifth on a fielding error by the Shoremen that allowed Brendan Pell to reach.  However Pell would be stranded at first as Mikulus retired the next two hitters to end the inning as the error was the only thing that stood in the way of a perfect game. - The senior pitcher would retire the last 14 hitters of the game to register the nine inning no-no in almost a half-century as he got Ryan Fuscaldo to ...
