| DOVER, DE – February 24, 2026 – Due to school closures and ongoing concerns related to weather conditions, the DIAA has made a second adjustment to the schedules for the Unified, Girls, and Boys Basketball State Tournaments. In fairness to schools across the state and while also taking into account facility availability at the University of Delaware, these updates were necessary to ensure equitable opportunities for all participating teams. These changes are intended to provide equitable opportunities for all participating teams while continuing to prioritize the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure a safe, fair, and successful championship experience for all. Please see the updated schedules below. Unified Basketball – Revised Dates Round 1: Monday, March 2 Quarterfinals: Friday, March 6 Semifinals: Monday, March 9 Finals: Saturday, March 14 Boys Basketball – Revised Dates Round 1: Tuesday, March 3 Round 2: Thursday, March 5 Quarterfinals: Saturday, March 7 (hosted by higher-seed) Semifinals: Wednesday, March 11 Finals: Saturday, March 14 Girls Basketball – Revised Dates Round 1: Monday, March 2 Round 2: Wednesday, March 4 Quarterfinals: Friday, March 6 (hosted by higher-seed) Semifinals: Tuesday, March 10 Finals: Saturday, March 14 Please note: All Quarterfinal contests will now be hosted by the higher-seeded team. Ticket dates and times on GoFan will be updated later this evening to reflect the schedule changes. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. The semifinals and finals remain scheduled at the University of Delaware’s Bob Carpenter Center. The updated 2026 DIAA Basketball State Championship brackets are available on DIAA’s website. Ticket & Broadcast Information: Tickets for games played through the quarterfinals will be available for purchase online via GoFan, the official ticket platform of the DIAA. https://gofan.co/app/school/DIAA **Admission to Unified games – a ticket is only needed for the finals at University of Delaware.
