Obiora leads Hawks to capture Flight A Championship with win over William Penn

The No. 6 St Georges Hawks faced off with the No. 4 William Penn Colonials in Flight A matchup that determined the regular season champions. Forward Joshua Obiora led the Hawks in a 61-49 victory to crown St Georges as the Flight A regular season champs. Coach Rod Griffin told us “The Flight A is absolutely loaded with 5-6 teams in the top 10” in a post game interview.

Obiora slammed the Hawks to victory scoring 17 points to lead all scorers while adding some highlight reel dunks in the game. David Crawford (10) and Emory Womack (11) also joined Obiora with double digit points.
